Rajapuram: In association with Global Institute of Textiles Designing (GITD), Malabar Social Service Society have initiated a new venture in order to provide training in garment fashion designing to rural women. The official inauguration of the program has done by Mar Joseph Pandarasseril, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Kottayam at MASSS training centre at Kottody, Kasargod. The inaugural session was presided over by Fr. Abraham Parambettu, director of Barumariam pastoral centre, Fr. Mathews Valiyaputhenpurayil, Asst Secretary of MASSS, Fr. Shaji Vadakkethottiyil, Fr. Shaji Mukalel, Mrs. Pennamma James-Ward member, and Mrs. Suma S Pai-Representative of GITD were present and spoke in the ocassion.
